This year JYCA Director Talia Cooper was selected to be a part of a national cohort of interfaith community organizers, as part of Progressive Jewish Alliance & Jewish Funds for Justice’s Community Organizing Residency. In September Talia joined 24 other residents at the opening retreat for leadership and community organizing training. These new connections have enhanced JYCA’s activism and placed us on the national community organizing radar!
