Hey JYCAtastic people. This is Michael, a JYCA youth on the Media Committee. In November, JYCA attended a sweat-free fashion show which advertised clothes not made in sweatshops. The show was organized by Progressive Jewish Alliance, American Jewish World Service and The Hub. Not only was this a fantastic opportunity to support the sweat-free movement, but JYCA also got to watch our very own Nina Goldman model in the show! The show was a blast and a big success. It was a lot of fun to see Nina and the other models strut their stuff on the runway while learning about alternatives to sweatshop labor.
